Weather information

Radar displays recent weather radar for the contiguous United States. Imagery may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. A blank area does not necessarily mean clear weather. Location history may contain gaps or inaccurate fixes.

Radar does not provide forecasts, severe-weather alerts, emergency warnings, or navigation instructions. Use official weather warnings and local emergency guidance when making safety decisions. Official U.S. weather information is available from the National Weather Service.

Radar data

Radar imagery is provided by Iowa Environmental Mesonet at Iowa State University using NOAA’s NEXRAD network. IEM makes its website materials available for lawful use and provides them without a warranty of accuracy. See IEM’s usage and disclaimer notice.

Nix Labs LLC is independent of NOAA, the National Weather Service, Iowa State University, and Apple. These organizations do not endorse Radar.

Maps and app licensing

The app’s base map is provided through Apple MapKit. Map credits and applicable notices are displayed in the app.

Downloads through the App Store are subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different agreement is presented at purchase or download. Nothing in this notice limits rights you have under applicable law.
